Community Involvement

Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches strive to function as active community members. We run many community-based programs so that each restaurant may work with the people of its respective community in an effort to enrich that community.

Our programs include Fire Safety Month every October, significant Easter Seal & Genesis Fund support, The Jimmy Fund and The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation support, Community Fundraisers, and support of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF).

Papa Gino's Community Fundraisers
What they are and how they work:

The program offers groups the opportunity to bring people to visit Papa Gino's during a specific time period. During that pre-determined period, guests are encouraged to purchase from a specific location. When they make their purchase, they present a Papa Gino's flyer for their group. In turn, Papa Gino's will donate 20% of the guest's entire purchase to the benefiting group. The donation is valid on dine-in and carry-out only, provided the person making the purchase presents a fundraiser flyer. Any not-for-profit group can hold a fundraiser.

Two Great Ways To Earn Dough For Your Organization:

1. Five Hour Fundraiser

  • The group leader will sit down with the General Manager at least a month prior to the event and complete a Community Fundraiser contract. They will be offered a five-hour period during the week. The group can choose from the following options:

    Pick a day: Sunday through Thursday
    Pick a time: Lunch, 11:00 through 4:00 PM
    Dinner, 4:00 PM through 9:00 PM
    Times and dates are at the discretion of the General Manager.

 

  • The General Manager will review all items in the brochure with the group leader and review the checklist located inside the Fundraiser Brochure.

 

  • The group leader is given a fundraiser flyer that they are to fill in and distribute to the members of the group and others whom they hope to solicit to attend the fundraiser.

 

  • IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GROUP TO ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE ITS FUNDRAISER.

 

  • A check will be issued from the corporate office within 3 to 4 weeks of the date of the fundraiser.

 

2. School fundraising - receive a discount on gift cards and sell at face value.

 Example: Purchase 500 $10 gift cards and pay $4,500. Sell them at face value and earn $500 for your organization.
